Dr. Thomas Mazzoni specializes in all aspects of Otolaryngology/Facial Plastics and Reconstructive Surgery. He is the current Chair of the Department of General Otolaryngology at Rutgers/Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Dr. Mazzoni is also affiliated with Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. He is an active Member of the Cooperman Barnabas Head and Neck Cancer Committee/Oncology Program and the Bloodless surgery division at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center. Dr. Mazzoni stays current in his field by attending many educational conferences and training courses including Balloon Sinuplasy, Sleep Apnea Surgery and Trans Oral Robotic Surgery (TORS) for the treatment of cancer of the head and neck. Dr. Mazzoni has been a Clinical Instructor for the Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery (now Rutgers/RWJ/Barnabas Health) Residency Program since 2007.

Dr. Mazzoni enjoys forming strong bonds with his patients and being an active part of the training process of Otolaryngology/Facial Plastic Surgery residents for Rutgers/Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center.
Clinical Interests:
Adult and Pediatric Otolaryngology, Head Neck surgery, Cancer surgery, Trans Oral Robotic Surgery, Facial Plastics and cosmetic surgery including rhinoplasty (nose reshaping), blepharoplasty surgery (eye lift), rhytidectomy (face lift), otoplasty (ear pinning/reshaping), botox and filler augmentation, Rhinology (Sinus surgery and minimally invasive balloon sinuplasty), Sleep apnea surgery (advanced and minimally invasive), Otology (Surgery of the ear and hearing restoration) and Laryngology (vocal surgery).
