Steven Hertz, MD, Director of Vascular Surgery at Saint Barnabas Medical Center, received his medical degree from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, NY. He completed his residency in General Surgery at Mount Sinai Medical Center, New York, NY, and a fellowship in Vascular Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Medical Center, Philadelphia, PA. Dr. Hertz has been a member of the surgical staff at Saint Barnabas Medical Center and Newark Beth Israel Medical Center since 1993. He is board certified in general and vascular surgery and is President of the Vascular Society of New Jersey.
Dr. Hertz has written many journal articles and book chapters, and made numerous presentations on the subject of vascular disease management.
