Find Me On www.hudsoneye.com Bio Scott M. Walsman M.D. received his undergraduate degrees from Rutgers College graduating Summa Cum Laude with highest honors in Biological Sciences. He completed his ophthalmology residency at New Jersey Medical School-UMDNJ in Newark. He served as Chief Resident in his final year before completing a Glaucoma Fellowship under Dr. Scott D. Smith at the Harkness Eye Institute of Columbia University in New York. Dr. Walsman maintains clinical appointments at both Columbia and UMDNJ and is actively involved with resident education and surgical training at both institutions. Dr. Walsman's research and publications focus on anterior segment imaging for glaucoma diagnosis and combined cataract surgery and glaucoma procedures, and he maintains professional affiliations with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Glaucoma Society, New Jersey Academy of Ophthalmology, and the Association for Research in Vision. Dr Walsman is board certified in Ophthalmology by the American Board of Ophthalmology. He resides in Maplewood NJ.
