Sarah C. Hessler, MD, is a board-certified reproductive endocrinologist and infertility specialist at the Institute for Reproductive Medicine and Science (IRMS). She is an attending physician in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at both Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center.
Dr. Hessler has a comprehensive surgical training and is the Director of Reproductive Surgery at IRMS. She specializes in minimally invasive surgery for the treatment of uterine anomalies, endometrial polyps and fibroids, tubal disease and endometriosis. Her practice encompasses reproductive surgery, treatment of gynecologic endocrine disorders and assisted reproductive technologies including in vitro fertilization and oocyte cryopreservation. Dr. Hessler continues to teach residents and medical students at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center.
Her special interests within the field include: PCOS, including lifestyle education with diet and exercise, recurrent pregnancy loss, reproductive surgery, and oocyte cryopreservation for both onco-fertility and fertility preservation.
