Nahass, MD, is an Infectious Disease specialist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital and Clinical Professor of Medicine at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. A pioneer in advanced treatments for HIV, Hepatitis B and C, and other complex infectious diseases, Dr. Nahass has served on the National Guideline Panel for new therapies in Hepatitis C. Dr. Nahass is dedicated to guiding patients and families through complex diagnoses with personalized care that supports safe and effective outcomes. He also contributed nationally to improving infectious disease care through his leadership with the Infectious Diseases Society of America.Philosophy of Care:
Infectious diseases affect every organ system, requiring a physician to look at the whole patient rather than just one area of the body. Dr. Nahass is committed to understanding each patient fully and how infections impact their overall health and is driven by both the intellectual challenge of the field and the responsibility to improve health at the individual and community levels.
