Randy Shafritz, MD,FACS

Dr. Shafritz currently serves as Program Director, Vascular Surgery Fellowship and Vascular Integrated Residency Programs, and Medical Director, Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, New Brunswick. He also is Medical Co-Director, RWJUH Wound Care Center, Restorix Health Care, and Medical Director, University Vein Center, Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He received his medical degree from Sidney Kimmel Medical School of Thomas Jefferson University, Philadelphia, and completed his general surgery residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia. He also completed fellowship training with Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School Division of Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Therapy, New Brunswick, where he was a clinical and research fellow.
Dr. Shafritz is Board Certified in Vascular Surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation(RPVI) through the Alliance for Physician Certification & Advancement (APCA). He serves on the Editorial Review Board for the Journal of Non-invasive Vascular Investigation and Annals of Surgery and Perioperative Care, and his professional memberships include the Association of Program Directors in Vascular Surgery, American College of Phlebology, American College of Surgeons and Vascular Society of New Jersey.
