Pratik B. Patel, MD

Pratik B. Patel, MD, FACC, is a board-certified cardiologist at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. Dr. Patel holds multiple certifications in cardiology, interventional cardiology, internal medicine, nuclear cardiology, echocardiography, peripheral vascular ultrasound, peripheral interventions, and vascular medicine. He has played a key role in advancing cardiovascular care, including serving as a founding member of the transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) program at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital since 2012. Dedicated to innovation and patient care, Dr. Patel has extensive expertise in complex coronary interventions, peripheral vascular interventions such as carotid and renal artery stenting, and minimally invasive therapies for structural heart disease, including TAVR, transcatheter mitral valve repair (MitraClip), and closure of congenital heart defects. He also specializes in treating venous disease, including IVC filter placement and retrieval, thrombolysis for DVT and pulmonary embolism, and office-based procedures for varicose veins.
