    Dr. Polina Trachuk is a Critical Care Physician at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center with specialized expertise in Cardiac Critical Care and Infectious Diseases. She currently serves as an attending physician in the Cardiac Critical Care Unit at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center and holds a faculty appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Medicine at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.

    Dr. Trachuk earned her medical degree from St. George’s University and completed her Internal Medicine Residency at New York-Presbyterian/Queens. She pursued Fellowship training in both Infectious Diseases and Critical Care Medicine at Montefiore Medical Center.

    She previously served as Medical Director of the Obstetric Intensive Care Unit at Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women & Babies, in Orlando, Florida, and has held faculty positions at Florida State University College of Medicine and NYU School of Medicine. Her clinical and academic interests include the management of cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support, and the intersection of infectious diseases and critical illness. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Infectious Diseases, Critical Care, and Neurocritical Care.

    In her spare time, Dr. Trachuk enjoys reading, gardening, and spending time with her family.
