Philip J. Therrien, MD

After attending college at Bowdoin in Maine, Dr. Therrien continued his education at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. His residency was at the University of Connecticut Hartford Hospital. His Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship training was completed at the Children’s Hospital of
Boston.
He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgeons, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, and a member of the Pediatric Orthopedic Society of North America. Dr. Therrien is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine (AACPDM) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP).
Dr. Therrien runs the Children’s Specialized Pediatric Orthopedic Program in Mountainside. He specializes in cerebral palsy, hip dysplasia, gait abnormalities, and general pediatric orthopedic care.
