    Dr. Yonclas is an Associate Professor of Surgery and Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Vice Chair of Clinical Affairs for the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Rutgers - New Jersey Medical School (NJMS). He is also the Chairman of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and serves as the Medical Director of Rehabilitation Services at Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center (SBMC) and the Director of the Acquired Brain Injury Clinic at University Hospital.

    Dr. Yonclas has over 20 years of experience working with a wide range of brain injury patients of all ages. He has experience in all aspects of concussion management including on-field assessment and guiding recovery and return to play decisions. He has served as a team physician at the high school and collegiate level. He has published on brain injury management and presented on brain injury and concussion management at a national level.

    Dr. Yonclas received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of New Jersey Medical School. He completed his residency training at Rutgers – NJMS - Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation.

    He is board certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Brain Injury Medicine.
