Dr. DeMartino graduated from Rutgers Medical School after obtaining his B.S. Pharmacy, Sum Cum Laude, from Northeastern University, Boston, MA. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at Pennsylvania Hospital, the nation’s first hospital, and Gastroenterology/Hepatology Fellowship at Presbyterian-University of Pennsylvania Medical Center and remained an additional year for advanced training in therapeutic interventional endoscopy. His special interests are GERD, PUD prevention of Colorectal Cancer and disorders of the pancreaticobiliary system. Dr. DeMartino is Board Certified in Gastroenterology and a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology, and has chaired the annual Colorectal Cancer Awareness Fair for the past 15 years.
Clinical Interests
Advanced training in pancreaticobiliary procedures(ERCP/sphincterotomy, Stent placement, Removal of bile duct stones, Endoscopic repair of postoperative bile leaks, etc. Complex colonoscopic removal of large polyps/tumors, etc.
