    Board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Nagy graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in biology/pre-medicine from the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania. He earned his doctorate at the University of Cincinnati Medical College. After completing a five-year general surgery residency at the renowned Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Dr. Nagy, a Monsignor Donovan H.S. alumnus, returned to the shore area to practice as a general surgeon. He pursued additional training after two years in practice and was accepted into a Fellowship specializing in cosmetic and breast surgery with an additional two years of plastic and reconstructive surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He is one of the areas premier plastic surgeons, and exudes not only a knowledge and skill of surgical excellence, but a caring and compassion for his patients unparalleled by other surgeons.

    Dr. Nagy’s office is conveniently located in Wall Township, New Jersey. This location allows him to serve his Toms River, New Jersey patient base as well as offering access to Jackson, NJ, Howell, NJ, Freehold, NJ, Colts Neck, NJ, and all other Monmouth County locations. A proud and dedicated member of the American Cancer Society, Dr. Nagy was honored as Volunteer of the Year 2010 Eastern Region. He currently serves on the American Cancer Society Board of Directors, the American Cancer Society Corporate Leadership Council, and provides numerous educational lectures, seminars, and cancer screenings on behalf of the ACS to the local community. A significant part of Dr. Nagy’s medical practice is dedicated to the care of cancer patients. He finds reconstructive surgery, in particular breast cancer reconstruction, to be one of the most rewarding aspects of his practice. His approachability and genuine care and concern for his patients are immeasurable.

    Dr. Nagy maintains membership in some of the most prestigious professional organizations for plastic surgeons including Diplomat, American Board of Plastic Surgery, and member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He shares his knowledge and perspective on several medical committees and has authored publications and textbook chapters pertaining to plastic surgery. His greatest achievements are those of husband and father.
