    Director, Transplant Urology

    A graduate of Duke University, Durham, North Carolina, Dr. Whang received his medical degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University where he also completed an internship in surgery, followed by residencies in surgery and urology. He is board certified in urology and is the author of more than two dozen medical publications and abstracts. In addition, Dr. Whang has received several awards for clinical research. He is a member of numerous professional associations, among them, The Academy of Medicine of New Jersey, The American Urologic Association, and The Korean American Medical Association.
