Martin P. Michalewski, M.D., F.A.C.O.G, a urogyncologist at Community Medical Center has helped pioneer many urogynecological laparoscopic procedures which have improved the quality of life for so many women who have experienced urinary incontinence, cystocele, rectocele, uterine/vaginal prolapse, pelvic pain, bleeding, fibroids and others. Dr. Michalewski received the achievement award from the Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons, distinguishing him as among the best laparoscopic surgeons and he is a recipient of Outstanding Researcher Status for his past research activities. He currently serves as proctor, consultant and lecturer for major surgical companies such as Ehicons Endo Surgery, Gynacare Womens Health and Urology, American Medical Systems, Intuitive Surgicals DaVinci Robotic System, Wisap GmbH, Synergy Surgical and Covidiens SILS, teaching other surgeons newest minimally invasive surgical techniques.
