    As a fellowship-trained pediatric otolaryngologist, Dr. Li specializes in the treatment of children with sleep apnea, congenital neck masses, salivary gland disease, voice disorders, and complex airway and swallowing disorders. Her surgical interests include endoscopic airway procedures for the treatment of laryngomalacia, subglottic stenosis, laryngeal clefts and vocal cord dysfunction.

    Dr. Li received her undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania and medical degree from New York University. She completed her Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency at George Washington University, and developed a special interest in caring for pediatric patients after spending clinical and research time at Children’s National Medical Center. She went on to complete her pediatric otolaryngology fellowship at Boston Children’s Hospital.

    Dr. Li has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. She has received multiple awards for her research at national conferences and meetings. Her research interests include improving outcomes and access to care for tracheostomy-dependent children. She is an active member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and the American Society of Pediatric Otolaryngology.

    Philosophy of Care:

    I am committed to providing comprehensive care to pediatric patients with otolaryngologic concerns. I believe that multidisciplinary collaboration and family-oriented care provide the best outcomes for my patients. I specialize in pediatric airway and swallow disorders, and can discuss a wide range of medical management and surgical interventions with a patient’s family to establish an optimal treatment plan for their child.
