Dr. Leonard Y. Lee is the James W. Mackenzie Professor and Chair of the Department of Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, and Chief of Surgical Services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. A graduate of Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, he completed advanced training at Weill Cornell and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Dr. Lee is a nationally recognized leader in cardiac surgery and minimally invasive valve repair, driving significant advancements in patient outcomes and surgical innovation. His leadership has fostered collaboration and excellence across clinical, research, and educational programs.
