Philosophy of Care:
I take the care of my thoracic surgical patients personally. I have had several close family members die from thoracic malignancies including my twin brother from lung cancer. I truly do know what it is like to be on the patient side of dealing with such serious diseases. I treat patients like I would want my family treated. An important part of the philosophy of our Thoracic Surgery team is the use of the latest in cutting edge technology in our fight against cancer. This includes robotics in surgery and bronchoscopies as well as exciting non-surgical treatment of cancer to help deliver the best care on an individualized basis.
