Jiten H. Desai, MD

Bio:

Dr. Jiten Desai is a board-certified gastroenterologist with subspecialty training in advanced endoscopy. He completed his Advanced Endoscopy Fellowship at the University of California, Davis Medical Center in Sacramento, where he developed expertise in ERCP, EUS, management of complex pancreaticobiliary conditions, luminal stenting, and advanced resection techniques including EMR and ESD. Dr. Desai earned his medical degree from Pramukhswami Medical College in India and completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at Nassau University Medical Center in New York. His clinical approach emphasizes evidence-based, minimally invasive therapies tailored to each patient’s needs. His areas of clinical interest include pancreaticobiliary diseases, Barrett’s esophagus, gastrointestinal malignancies, and complex endoscopic interventions. Dr. Desai remains actively engaged in clinical research, academic mentorship, and participation in national gastroenterology societies. He is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and works closely with referring physicians to ensure seamless coordination and continuity. Dr. Desai is currently accepting new patients for both general gastroenterology consultations and advanced endoscopic procedures.
