    Dr. Womack has been on faculty in the department of family medicine since 2008. He graduated from Rutgers University and attended medical school at Rutgers - Robert Wood Johnson Medical School where he was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. He serves of Chief of the Division of Sports Medicine and as Head Team Physician at Rutgers University Athletics. Currently, Dr. Womack is actively involved in the education of students, residents, and fellows, and does research on cardiac conditions and concussions in athletes.

    Philosophy of Care:

    Our goal at in the Division of Sports Medicine is to provide comprehensive non-operative musculoskeletal and sports medicine care to patients of all ages. From sports injury to osteoarthritis, we are committed to offering treatments to help people stay active and decrease their pain. In addition to providing evidence based treatments of common conditions, our faculty is proficient in cutting edge musculoskeletal ultrasound that can offer alternative treatment strategies for complicated musculoskeletal and peripheral nerve conditions.
