Affiliations Find Me On Bio Dr. Loumiotis earned his medical degree from The University of Athens Medical School in Greece. He then completed General Surgery residencies at the University of Arizona-College of Medicine as well as Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center. Subsequently, he completed a Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center-Albert Einstein College of Medicine, as well as an Advanced Cardiothoracic Surgery fellowship in Complex Aortic Surgery at New York-Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Cornell Medical College. Dr Loumiotis specializes in all aspects of adult cardiac surgery and aortic surgery. He is able to perform coronary artery bypass surgery, multi-arterial bypass grafting, aortic valve repair and replacement, valve sparing root surgery, bicuspid valve repair, mitral valve repair and replacement, and trans-catheter valve therapies. He has a special interest and vast experience in treating pathologies in any part of the aorta extending from the aortic root to the aortic bifurcation.
