    Dr. Harnly's medical school training was completed at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Her orthopedic surgical training was completed at UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey. After residency, Dr. Harnly completed a sports medicine subspecialty fellowship at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. Dr. Harnly continued her training with a second subspecialty fellowship in pediatric orthopedics at A.I. Dupont Hospital for Children in Wilmington, Delaware. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

    Dr. Harnly's special interests involve general pediatric orthopedics as well as pediatric and adolescent sports medicine including arthroscopic surgery; ACL, PCL, MCL, and LCL injuries of the knee; musculoskeletal injuries; and shoulder problems.
