    Philosophy of Care:

As a fellowship-trained board eligible endourologist (minimally invasive urologist), Dr. Mullen is passionate about treating patients with kidney stones and enlarged prostates (BPH). He emphasizes medical management of kidney stones to help prevent the recurrence of the stones. However, when needed Dr. Mullen can address all stone disease with medicine or with surgery. He believes in shared decision making with the patients and their families to determine best management of their stone disease. Using the latest techniques, Dr. Mullen is among only a handful of urologic surgeons in NJ who perform percutaneous kidney surgeries and laser enucleation of prostate for BPH.
