Philosophy of Care:
Upon graduating from medical school, I took the Hippocratic Oath, committing myself to keeping my patients at the center of the entire healthcare circle. I pride myself on practicing patient-centered care, where I keep my patients well-informed about their health issues and concerns. This approach prioritizes the preferences, needs and values of every individual. I believe in treating every patient with respect and dignity. I place a great emphasis on involving my patients in their healthcare and in the decision-making process, which involves a carefully thought-out diagnosis and treatment plan. Explaining the disease process can sometimes be challenging; however, it must be done thoroughly and to the patient's satisfaction. The lines of communication between physician and patient should never be blurred or lost at any time.
