Ernest M. Ginalis, M.D., FACS, received his medical degree at the Aristotelion University in Greece, and he completed his surgical residency at Monmouth Medical Center. He is actively involved in surgical teaching, and he is the recipient of the chief residents’ award for excellence in clinical teaching. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the Society of the Laparoendoscopic Surgeons.
