    Philosophy of Care:

My work as a physician assistant has always been very patient-centered, whether in outpatient consultations, emergency medicine visits, pre-operative, intra-operative, or post-operative care of patients. I treat each patient individually based upon his/her/their concerns and specific treatment needs. I am also very aware and attentive to all aspects of cultural diversity and recognize the importance of valuing this when caring for patients, both individually and, at times, with involvement of family members. More specific to patients who require surgical interventions, I realize the great amount of trust that patients place in their surgeons and provider team - both in the or and in peri-operative care. As a member of the surgical provider team, I never lose sight of the responsibility that I hold to do the very best that I can for each and every patient under my care, treating them no differently than I would a member from my own family.
