  • Dr. David Scarisbrick is a board-certified clinical neuropsychologist and an Associate Professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Dr. Scarisbrick specializes in assessing patients with neurological conditions, including movement disorders, traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, and neurodegenerative diseases. Dr. Scarisbrick is part of the neurosurgical awake craniotomy brain tumor team, which focuses on the concept of oncofunctional balance. He works closely with RWJMS neurosurgeons to assess cognitive functions before and after surgery while choosing intraoperative measures that help preserve cognitive abilities and maximize tumor resections.
