I am a board-certified urologic surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of cancers of the genitourinary system. I am committed to providing compassionate, high-quality, and personalized care through a comprehensive, multidisciplinary approach. My expertise in open, minimally invasive, and robotic surgery allows me to offer innovative treatment options tailored to each patient’s goals while maximizing quality of life.
My clinical interests include kidney cancer, urothelial cancer, and prostate cancer, with particular expertise in nerve-sparing robotic-assisted radical prostatectomy. I emphasize patient-centered care and support active surveillance for appropriate patients with low-risk or indolent prostate cancer. I also treat bladder, testicular, adrenal, and penile cancers, as well as retroperitoneal and pelvic sarcomas.
In addition to my clinical practice, I have led and participated in numerous clinical trials and published extensively on the surgical management of urologic cancers. My academic interests focus on advancing personalized medicine, with the goal of refining our ability to predict cancer behavior and treatment response.
I am an active member of the American Urologic Association and the Society of Urologic Oncology and serve as an Associate Professor of Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. Passionate about surgical education, I take pride in training the next generation of urologic surgeons.
