    Dr. Christina Gillespie is an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. A board-certified comprehensive otolaryngologist with more than 20 years of clinical experience, she provides high-quality care for patients of all ages, from newborns to the elderly. She diagnoses and treats a wide variety of conditions affecting the ear, nose, and throat, with areas of interest that include pediatric and general otolaryngology, hearing and balance disorders, sleep apnea, allergy, sinus disease, voice problems, and swallowing and feeding disorders. Her surgical expertise includes ear tube placement, tonsillectomy, sinus surgery, septoplasty, and related ENT procedures.

    Dr. Gillespie served 14 years in the U.S. Army, where she was Chief of the Otolaryngology Service at William Beaumont Army Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, for eight years. During this time, she cared for soldiers and their families, developed expertise in noise-induced hearing loss, acoustic trauma, and battlefield injuries, and was awarded multiple medals, including the Army Commendation Medal and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Following an honorable discharge, she practiced in New Jersey before joining Rutgers. She currently provides care at her Toms River practice location as well as Community Medical Center and Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus.

    In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Gillespie is active at the national level in the American Academy of Otolaryngology, where she serves on the Board of Governors and several committees, including Legislative Affairs and Practice Management Education.

    Dr. Gillespie strives to provide compassionate, patient-centered care based on participation and shared decision-making. She is committed to listening, communicating, educating, and advocating for her patients.

    Pediatric otolaryngology, general otolaryngology, hearing and balance disorders, sleep apnea, allergy, sinus problems, sinus surgery, feeding and swallowing problems.
