Bishoy Wassef, MD, completed an undergraduate degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior as well as French at UC Davis and his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean followed by a family medicine residency and sports medicine fellowship at the Eisenhower Medical Center in California. His passion for medicine is closely intertwined with that for sports medicine as he has always been involved in athletics and has a strong interest in musculoskeletal care, fitness, and nutrition.
Having completed a fellowship in sports medicine and obtaining a certificate of added qualification in the field, he is able to diagnose and treat a wide range of musculoskeletal problems for all age groups. This includes ultrasound-guided injections, guiding his patients towards various other therapies that can be of benefit, and prevention of future problems. On a professional level, he is proud of the skills in diagnosis and treatments that he has acquired over the years in providing the highest quality care while gaining the trust of my patients. He is trilingual in English, French, and Arabic.
