I am a dermato-oncologist specializing in the care of patients with complex and advanced skin carcinomas as well as the management of skin side effects in oncology patients. While my practice encompasses medical and surgical care for all skin tumors, my focus is on patients with unique challenges: those no longer candidates for surgical cure due to locally or systemically advanced disease, those with recurrent tumors, numerous malignancies, immune deficiencies, inheritable syndromes, or treatment-related skin complications.

Prevention and surveillance for high-risk patients is a cornerstone of my work, as early identification and proactive care can significantly improve outcomes. Equally important is managing skin side effects of oncology therapies; timely and effective intervention allows patients to remain on lifesaving treatments and clinical trials.

I have developed a distinctive tissue bank of complex and rare skin carcinomas to advance understanding of the genetic and clinical intersections of these diseases. My research also explores serological and genetic biomarkers to identify patients vulnerable to severe cutaneous adverse events from systemic therapies—efforts that support more precise, individualized care.

As part of a multidisciplinary team, I collaborate across dermatology, medical and surgical oncology, radiation oncology, imaging, and basic science. This integrated model delivers personalized, comprehensive care spanning prevention, early detection, and advanced treatment of skin malignancies. My philosophy is rooted in patient-centered care—providing the highest clinical standards while addressing gaps that impact long-term health and quality of life.
