Philosophy of Care:
My goal is to provide the highest quality, evidence-based epilepsy care with compassion, respect, and integrity. I believe in collaborating with patients and families—listening closely, answering questions, and ensuring they feel supported in every aspect of their journey. I work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to create individualized care plans that address physical, emotional, and lifestyle needs, regardless of background, race, ethnicity, religion, or sexual orientation. Through education, shared decision-making, and a focus on quality of life, I strive to empower every patient to live fully and confidently with epilepsy.
Clinical Interests:
My clinical interests include the diagnosis and management of focal and generalized epilepsies, advanced treatment of drug-resistant epilepsy, and the use of neuromodulation therapies such as Vagus Nerve Stimulation (VNS) and Responsive Neurostimulation (RNS). I have a special interest in epilepsy surgery evaluation and postoperative care, epilepsy in women’s health, and supporting the transition from pediatric to adult epilepsy care. I am passionate about seizure safety education, lifestyle modification, and empowering patients and families through education, psychosocial support, and shared decision-making to optimize quality of life.
