    Philosophy:

Midwifery care is based on the fundamental idea that women are the keeper and bearers of life. The process that occurs as women transition from being a woman to a mother and from a couple to family is one of the most magnificent times in the human life course. I believe that every woman should be cared for in a manner that is respectful and inclusive. I believe that women and families should feel supported so that they may give birth safely and with dignity. I strive to make every interaction thoughtful, compassionate, and individualized while also incorporating evidenced-based care to ensure that women feel empowered in their experiences.
