    Dr. Adachie is well trained in both Medicine and Dentistry. He obtained his Dental Degree (DMD) from University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and his Medical Degree (MD) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University in New York. He completed one year of general surgery training upon graduation from medical school. He completed one year of residency in general surgery before completing his training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Beth Israel Medical Center/Mount Sinai Medical Center/Jacobi Medical Center in New York. He was then chosen above all other candidates in the country by Professor Jeffrey C. Posnick, an internationally acknowledged leader in Pediatric Cranio-maxillofacial & Plastic surgery, to be the prestigious Posnick Pediatric Craniomaxillofacial Surgery Fellow for 1 year at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington DC.

    Dr. Adachie, is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons; an Assistant Professor of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine in New Jersey; a Fellow of American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons; a member of American Medical Association and a Fellow of prestigious American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr Adachie has privileges in multiple University Teaching Hospital (University Hospital Newark, Saint Peters University Hospital New Brunswick, Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital), practices full scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery focusing on orthognathic surgery, cleft lip and palate surgery, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, facial implants, maxillofacial trauma reconstruction and facial esthetic surgery. Dr Adachie, has published multiple articles on craniofacial surgery in peer review journals and has presented at the annual national meeting of American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
