Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, NJ is seeking a part-time board-certified pediatrician to work alongside another physician in our Pediatric Health Center. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is a member of RWJBarnabas Health, the largest provider of healthcare to children in the state of New Jersey.

Responsibilities:
- Provide primary care to infants, children, and adolescents in the Pediatric Health Center and newborn nursery
- Educate patients and their families about healthy lifestyles and disease prevention
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
- Supervise and teach residents that are rotating through the Pediatric Health Center

Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certified / Eligible in general pediatrics.
- Active medical license or able to be licensed in the state of New Jersey
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment

Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is one of the busiest providers of pediatric care in New Jersey. The hospital has a level III 56-bed NICU, over 6,400 annual deliveries, a 25-bed pediatric floor, 10-bed PICU, 24-hour pediatric hospitalist coverage and residents from the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey. With more than 200 pediatricians and pediatric specialists on staff, Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center offers virtually every major pediatric sub-specialty. The Medical Center offers the expertise of specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, child life coordinators, social workers and other health care professionals specially trained in treating the smallest patients. Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center is an associate member of the National Association of Children's Hospitals and Related Institutions.
