RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a board-certified/eligible Family Medicine Physician to join our team as Core Faculty for the Family Medicine residency program at Beth Primary Care in Newark, NJ.
Founded in 1984 through a model continuity-of-care grant, Beth Primary Care is a cornerstone of health in Newark, delivering comprehensive primary services to medically underserved communities. This position offers a unique blend of high-impact clinical practice and academic mentorship in an urban setting.
About this Role
As a Core Faculty member, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of physicians. Responsibilities include:
- Clinical Supervision: Mentoring residents across the full spectrum of Family Medicine, including inpatient and outpatient care, women’s health, obstetrics, sports medicine, geriatrics, and sleep medicine.
- Academic Development: Contributing to the development of residency curriculum, delivering scholarly lectures, and implementing innovative new programs.
- Collaborative Environment: Working alongside a diverse team of full-time internists, pediatricians, and specialized nursing staff.

Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Family Medicine.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated minimum salary range for this position if hired to work is $224,000 – $359,000
The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
