Lakewood, NJ –Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (MMCSC) held a ribbon-cutting dedication March 19th for the Lennar Foundation Wall of Hope, which serves as a celebration of life in the waiting area of the Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Women’s Center.
Did you know that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with chest cancer during her lifetime? MMCSC wants to remind women of the importance of yearly mammography screenings and knowing their genetic risk factors. The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Women’s Center’s all-female staff help patients navigate mammography screenings, diagnosis and treatment plans, if needed. The Center also offers a High-Risk program with access to genetic testing.

Thanks to MMCSC Foundation Board of Trustee member Robert Calabro, senior vice president, at Lennar Corporation, who was instrumental in having the Lennar Foundation name the Wall of Hope as one of its ongoing efforts in advancing health initiatives.
“The Lennar Foundation Wall of Hope is a symbol of celebration, remembrance and encouragement for all who come to the Center,” said Dr. Phil Passes, Chief Administrative Officer for MMCSC and Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch. “It is a visual representation of the support, compassion and strength that surrounds each individual receiving care at our Center.”
