Role Reflects Commitment to Excellence in Experience Across the System
West Orange, NJ, February 17, 2026 — RWJBarnabas Health, the largest, most comprehensive academic health care system in New Jersey, has appointed Odette Perriel, MS, as Senior Vice President, Support Services. In this role, Ms. Perriel will oversee support services functions across RWJBarnabas Health facilities for Food & Nutrition, Environmental Services, and Patient Transportation.
Reporting to Bill Arnold, Executive Vice President, RWJBarnabas Health, Ms. Perriel will work with leaders systemwide to standardize service delivery and further quality improvement initiatives across these functions.

As a strategic executive guiding service functions, Ms. Perriel has a proven track record of success, most recently serving as Regional Vice President of Support Services for the southern region of RWJBarnabas Health where she helped co‑lead the one system, one family initiative to propagate best practices throughout the organization. She joined RWJBarnabas Health in 2022 as Vice President of Support Services at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.
Prior to joining the system, Ms. Perriel served as Vice President, Patient Care Support Services for Maine Medical Center, and as Director, Environmental Services for Hackensack University Medical Center and Director of Support Services for New York-Presbyterian Hospital.
Ms. Perriel graduated from Johnson & Wales University and received her Master of Science degree from the University of Phoenix.
