Oct 1, 2025 Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton Kicks Off Paint the Town Pink - a Community-wide Movement for Cancer Care, Support and Hope

Hamilton Paint the Town Pink

Paint the Town Pink wouldn’t be possible without the support of friends and neighbors like this year’s Presenting Sponsor, Caesar's Bagels & Deli in Hamilton Township.

Hamilton Township, NJ, September 24, 2025 – This October, the Young Professionals Group and Development Committee of Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton (RWJUH Hamilton), an RWJBarnabas Health facility, will hold its 2nd Annual Paint the Town Pink campaign on October 1, in observance of Breast Cancer Awareness month.

The region-wide initiative presented by Caesar’s Bagels and Deli in Hamilton Township will support the Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton. Throughout the month, Hamilton Township and surrounding Mercer County communities will come together to show support for cancer patients, their journeys, and survivorship.

“Paint the Town Pink is more than a display of color—it’s a symbol of hope, unity, and determination,” says Lisa Breza, RN, MSN, NEA-BC, Chief Administrative Officer for Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton. “The contributions of our community partners, neighbors, businesses, employees and families will go a long way in supporting the important work of our Cancer Center and make a difference to our patients.”

Community businesses, members, and local organizations will Paint the Town Pink by decorating storefronts, lighting up buildings, offering pink-themed specials, or hosting creative events and proceeds will benefit the Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton. There will be something for everyone, and every splash of pink will make an impact. RWJUH Hamilton’s partners like Sky Zone Hamilton, Pickleball Kingdom, Outside the Lines Art Studio, and Primo Hoagies have each committed to supporting this initiative during the month of October.

“The importance of Paint the Town Pink resonates far beyond the walls of the Cancer Center,” says Josh Harry, Event Chair for the Young Professionals Group. “This initiative not only helps create critical awareness around cancer prevention and treatment, but it also directly supports patients and families right here in our community. RWJUH Hamilton plays a vital role in our community by providing advanced care, close to home, for those who need it most. Our fundraising goal this year is just the beginning of the Young Professionals’ ongoing commitment to strengthening and supporting the patients of the Cancer Center at RWJUH Hamilton.”

I support this cause not only to stand and fight together, but also for my customers and my community who depend on it,” shared Sezer Ates owner of Caesar’s Bagels & Deli, and this year’s presenting sponsor. “I want to lead by example, and my hope is that other business and community leaders will join me in supporting this important work.”
