Logan Firestine took center field as the “Shining Knight of the Game” during the annual Rutgers Football Scarlet-White Spring Game. Since birth, Firestine has been battling brachial palsy, which caused nerve damage leading to limited functionality and paralysis in his right arm. His medical care team from Children's Specialized Hospital and RWJBarnabas Health, led by Pediatric Orthopedic Surgeon Dr. Deidre Bielicka and Occupational Therapist Janelle Lenzo Werner, has been treating him since infancy.
