Millburn, NJ — Opportunity Project is thrilled to announce a significant donation from Tevogen Founder and CEO Dr. Ryan Saadi, which will support the organization’s work on behalf of individuals with brain injury.
Dr. Saadi is donating 10,000 of his personal shares of common stock to Opportunity Project. Tevogen, a clinical-stage specialty immunotherapy company, is headquartered in Warren, New Jersey.
“This donation is a small way to express my admiration for Opportunity Project’s work and its impact on so many lives,” Dr. Saadi said. “As a fellow New Jersey organization, we share a deep commitment to supporting our community and advancing human potential.”
For more than 30 years, Opportunity Project has provided adults who have sustained a brain injury with opportunities to build cognitive skills, vocational skills and confidence in their ability to accomplish personal goals and lead fulfilling lives. In addition, Opportunity Project leads regional and national awareness initiatives for communities, schools and corporations.
“We are deeply grateful for the generosity of Dr. Ryan Saadi,” said Kerri Berson Levine, Chair of the Opportunity Project’s Board of Trustees. “Contributions like this help ensure the ongoing success of Opportunity Project and our innovative Clubhouse program while guaranteeing that no individual with a brain injury is ever turned away due to an inability to pay. Our critical work would not be possible without the dedication of our donors and community partners.”
Opportunity Project was established after Mrs. Levine’s brother Gary — son of founding trustees, Marc Berson and Rita Yohalem — almost lost his life in a serious auto accident and after founding trustee, Lisa Goldman’s son Danny was forever changed by a brain tumor.
Donor contributions such as Dr. Saadi’s support a wide range of programs, including occupational therapy promoting independent living, nutrition and wellness initiatives, mental health workshops, member-to-member mentoring, and a Caregivers’ Group that provides essential support to members and their families.
