Feb 21, 2024 Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton Announces New Nursing Leader, Chief Nursing Officer

Dawn HutchinsonHAMILTON, NJ, February 21, 2024 - Lisa Breza, RN MSN NEA-BC, Chief Administrative Officer for RWJUH Hamilton, and on behalf of hospital Senior Leadership, today announced the appointment of Dawn Hutchinson, MSN, RN, PCCN-K, NEA-BC, as Chief Nursing Officer.

Dawn most recently served as Assistant Vice President of Nursing at RWJUH Hamilton, and in her role she provided both direction and vision for nursing excellence. Dawn has been on the RWJUH Hamilton Team since 2006, and has served as a staff nurse, clinical coordinator, manager and director.

Dawn achieved her Master’s degree in Nursing Leadership from Excelsior College and holds two national certifications for Progressive Nursing Care and Nurse Executive Advanced. Dawn is passionate about inspiring and influencing others to work together to achieve the highest goals. Dawn began her professional nursing career in 1988 at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. For 35 years, she has provided leadership to med-surg, telemetry and endoscopy nursing teams.
