Jan 4, 2022 Equitable Encounters: Real Talk About Race, November 2021

Ending Racism Together, in collaboration with the Social Impact and Community Investment Practice hosted a Virtual Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE), a series of interactive, online experiences designed to provide employees of RWJBarnabas Health a glimpse into the lives of underrepresented and underserved families living in poverty. Held over three days, three 90-minute sessions guided by Think Tank, Inc., enabled attendees to make decisions, to participate in a variety of simulated tasks, to convene in virtual breakout rooms for small group discussions and to debrief with colleagues regarding the overall experience, thereby empowering participants to lead change and better understand the social determinants of health impacting health care delivery and outcomes.
