Hospital leaders and RWJUH Board members joined New Brunswick Mayor James Cahill at a topping-off event hosted by project developer AST on August 2, 2022. AST Founder and President Robert D’Anton and his team had a ceremonial steel beam there to sign, which was lifted to the top of the 15-story structure to mark the transition to the build-out phase of the 15-story ambulatory medical pavilion. The facility, located at 210 Somerset Street, will be home to outpatient services for the hospital and Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School’s centers of excellence, such as cardiovascular and neuroscience.
