End of Program Student Learning Outcomes

Our End of Program Student Learning outcomes (EOPSLO) align with the QSEN competencies. QSEN stands for Quality and Safety Education for Nurses. QSEN

  • identified the competencies for nursing education in pre-licensure nursing education to guide
  • nurses to deliver quality and safe care (Institute of Medicine, 2003).

Patient Centered Care

  • Our graduates will provide compassionate and coordinated patient- centered care recognizing the patient as the source of control and as a full care partner with respect to their individual preferences, values, and needs.

Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Our graduates will function effectively within nursing and interprofessional teams, fostering open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making to achieve quality patient care.

Evidenced-based Practice (EBP)

  • Our graduates will integrate best current practices with clinical expertise and patient/family preferences and values when making clinical decisions in the delivery of optimal health care.

Quality Improvement
