RN to BSN opportunities for Trinitas School of Nursing students

Trinitas School of Nursing offers many avenues for our students to continue their nursing studies and complete their BSN through our varied affiliations. Kean University/Trinitas School of Nursing Dual Enrollment

Students in process of successfully completing their introductory nursing course at Trinitas School of Nursing are eligible to apply.

Thomas Edison University

Students in process of successfully completing NURE 132 and NURE 250 are eligible to apply to RN-BSN Program at Thomas Edison University.

St. Elizabeth University (formerly College of St. Elizabeth)

Students in the process of successfully completing the introductory courses in nursing can apply to SEU’s RN to BSN. Graduates of Trinitas School of Nursing are eligible for seamless articulation to the BSN program.

The program is 100% online. Combine online learning with part or full time study, and finish as few as 12 months.

  • Partnership discounted rate: $325 per credit In addition, Trinitas students will receive one 3 credit course free of charge
  • Program is fast and flexible
  • Transfer in up to 90 credits, with additional credits will be given for prior learning assessment

William Paterson University

Students approaching within their final year of Trinitas School of Nursing, can apply to William Paterson for the RN-BSN track.

Fairleigh Dickinson University (FDU) School of Nursing and Allied Health

  • The RN-to-BSN program is 100% online, with competitive tuition costs and scholarship opportunities SNAH Scholarships, Grants, Loans & Tuition Reimbursement | Fairleigh Dickinson University (fdu.edu)
  • Rolling admissions, with start date at the beginning of any semester (Fall, Winter, Spring, Summer).
  • Dedicated academic advisors assist in transferring up to 60 academic credits and 30 credits for achievement of RN licensure.
  • Obtain the BSN degree in one year of full-time study, or less if taking courses in the summer and/or winter.
  • SEVERAL OPTIONS TO OPTIMIZE ENROLLMENT:
    • Trinitas students can register for FDU degree completion courses as non-matriculated students (e.g., in summer and winter sessions) to begin working toward the FDU BSN even before RN licensure, and then apply for matriculation after licensure with many credits already completed toward the BSN.
    • Trinitas students can submit an application to the FDU program as soon as they are scheduled to take the NCLEX-RN exam and receive a conditional admission pending passing of NCLEX-RN exam.
    • Trinitas graduates can apply as soon they pass NCLEX-RN exam and we can structure a part-time course plan that optimizes employee education benefit or a full-time course plan that optimizes federal tuition grants.
