Veanna K Veanna Knoeller's Patient Story

"I wouldn’t have gotten through this experience without them and I am not really sure how to put those feeling into words. Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough."

Beating the Odds

Meet Veanna Knoeller. After the birth of her first daughter, Veanna was no stranger to the stress of a premature birth. But what was new to her was the phenomenal care and support given to her at Community Medical Center, where she had her second daughter, Kennedy, in a high-risk, preterm delivery. Take a look a Kennedy's milestone here.

Her Story

With two resilient, beautiful daughters, I consider myself so lucky. My preemies are beating the odds.

Community Medical Center is such a special part of my youngest daughter’s story. When things got tough, I was so glad this amazing team was there to welcome my second little miracle.

Kennedy was born at Community Medical Center six months ago. She was my second pregnancy and was considered high risk because my older daughter Montana was born prematurely. After being in and out of Community Medical Center for a few weeks with contractions and high blood pressure, Kennedy was born at only 33 weeks.

I never doubted that both my baby and I were in the best hands possible at Community Medical Center. The staff was phenomenal from the moment I went in to the day I left with my daughter.

Even though she was premature, Kennedy did not need to be transferred to another hospital because all of the resources she needed were right here at Community Medical Center. The Special Care Nursery where she stayed is staffed by a neonatologist and certified neonatal nurses. They were fantastic and are qualified to care for babies like Kennedy, born with special needs that don’t require transfer to a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.

What the staff at Community Medical Center does every day is amazing. They went above and beyond with my family. They were always compassionate and I felt confident in the decisions we were making together about my daughter’s care.

I wouldn’t have gotten through this experience without them and I am not really sure how to put those feeling into words. Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough.
