The Hope Hub – Lakewood

In addition to the Psychiatric Emergency Screening Services (PESS) offered at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus, the Hope Hub serves as an alternative for individuals and families seeking care in a therapeutic, welcoming environment. This location focuses on early intervention and hospital diversion serving both youth and adults who are experiencing a behavioral health crisis that does not reach a level requiring treatment in an emergency department or crisis setting. Located in a separate building on the hospital campus, the space is intentionally designed to feel like a living room rather than a clinical setting.

Our goal is to meet individuals where they are, easing fear, offering compassionate support, and helping them move forward on a path towards wellness and recovery. We connect individuals with community resources to ensure continued support beyond their visit, offer follow up services, peer support services and promote engagement in treatment to foster stability and overall well-being.
