Inaugural Stroke and Neurocritical Care Symposium

RWJBarnabas Health and Rutgers Biomedical and Health Sciences will present the inaugural Stroke and Neurocritical Care Symposium, “Advanced Management of Neurological and Neurosurgical Emergencies and Critical Care” on Friday, October 4, from Noon to 5 p.m., and Saturday, October 5, from 7 a.m. to 4:45 p.m. The symposium will be held at The Westin Newport Jersey City, located at 479 Washington Boulevard in Jersey City.

This inaugural symposium is a two-day CME/CE course designed to provide physicians, nurses and other allied health care professionals with a comprehensive overview of the current and emerging cutting-edge management strategies for cerebrovascular diseases and neurocritical care delivered by internationally renowned clinicians and researchers. The first, half-day program is dedicated to neuroscience, emergency and critical care nursing education, paralleled with mini-fellowship workshops in stroke, neurocritical care and neuro-intervention. The second day is a full-day program covering topics in stroke, neurovascular surgery, neuro-intervention and neurocritical care. The day will end with exciting debates presented by experts in the field.
