Understanding and Preventing Prostate Cancer
Dr. Neel Shah, a urologist and robotic surgeon at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, will discuss prostate cancer as well as various urological conditions, such as incontinence and benign prostatic hyperplasia, and their risk factors, signs and causes. He will also provide an overview of prostate cancer screenings such as PSA, if and when to get a screening, the significance of the Gleason score and available prostate cancer treatments, including the da Vinci Robotic Surgical System.
