Attachment, Bonding and Trust: The Missing Components in Modern Autism Practice

The effects of an insecure attachment in childhood are well known to have long term effects on relationships. Yet, this is often an overlooked part of autism treatment in favor of skill acquisition. This talk will examine the relationship between behaviorism and attachment styles and identify the short term and long term effects on relationships and quality of life.
